I'm back!
Hello readers.
Spurred on by this pointed post on my friend's blog, I finally decided to update this blog. I'm back in Japan and America was a blast. Odd how quickly I get back to my routine, over the three weeks in America I felt like I had forgotten what work was like. Some pics:
Here is Satoko contemplating Christmas dinner.
Here she is eating a giant chili dog at her first football game.
Her first artichoke.
Here we are out on the last night I saw my Charlotte friends. There were others, but unfortunately I didnt get any good pics of the whole group. That's Jay in the middle, the only of my friends who has come to see me in Japan (my doors are open to any who can make the trip).
It's quite snowy now. More so than at this time a year ago. That's good news if you're like me and you enjoy winter sports. Last year it was skis and this year when I came back to Japan I brought a whole load of brand new snowboard equipment. I've been out a few times so far and I have fallen many times, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. This weekend I will once again travel to Aomori for two days on the mountain at the grand Hakkoda-zan.
Peace.
